TIME TO LEGALIZE DRUGS like Canada is doing. Rush's case may change the drug laws. If enough conservatives see how stupid, hypocritical and compassion-less they've been about drug use and addiction, maybe they'll finally wake up and see that strict regulation of LEGALIZED drugs along with treatment programs instead of jail will not only wipe out every dope-dealer in the country but raise tens of billions of dollars which could even pay for national health insurance for everyone.

If you taxed LEGAL drugs 900%, like charge $10 for a joint and $9 of it goes to the government, you would have no need of other taxes, hundreds of billions on prisons and drug wars, etc.

People are going to get high one way or another if they want to, even if it's booze which is just as harmful as most drugs. Why not legalize everything but heroin and crack, but make people register to buy it and pay huge taxes? I like a little puff now and then, and I wouldn't jind paying $10 for a legal joint which costs almost nothing to manufacture. And marijuana is nowhere near as addictive as booze, pain-killers or cigarettes.

Hemp is another issue. Hemp plants could keep our forests from being cut down for paper. They also produce oils and fuels which could help solve our energy crisis. That's a fact.
