re:do you really think people are that stupid

I think religious zealots are dangerous people when lead by crazy people with whacked out agenda's - Jim Jones and David Koresh was proof of that.

Its amazing how little we know of the enemy. The religious zealots in Islam are not a minority like the radical right of the GOP in this country. Religious fundamentalism exists in much of the population. Muslims don't pray to Allah but then live in a secular world. Islam is a cornerstone to their lives where prayer is a daily ritual.

We are not dealing with a few, fragmentary, zealot Muslims. We are dealing with the nation of Islam, all one billion.

re:but the question isn't whether the terrorists are going to hit us again or not, but rather where and when

Not wanting to wait for an attack, I think we should spend some effort finding them and hitting them first either with bullets or locking bank accounts. Of course co-operation from Allies would be very useful.

Then why are we wasting time in Iraq? Our enemies that present the most danger are not there.
