Jack: I saw the thing about Prudential. Thet really only recommended 6 semi-conductor stocks. I believe two were Altera and Xlinx.I see AMD closed over 12 today.My chart still hasnt turned positive for AMD so maybe its not accurate in this case or traders havent taken the Prudential thing into account yet.I am sure there was some short covering.I would think Monday will tell for sure at least as far as AMD is concerned.I mentioned USS earlier because the guy on the opening show on CNBC was talking about it.He claimed that J&J had undercut them even going so far as to take a loss and now J&J had stopped that tactic giving USS some breathing room.
