Gerry: Interesting comment about some of the best had technical school degrees rather than engineering degrees.
True in every field.
Often our requirements, or the state or fed's requirements have nothing to do with talent and skill.
I had a friend who was doing clinical physical therapy work and was wonderful, understood the body perfectly. Sympatico. Could not pass state certification requirements. So can only work as an aide altho as talented as any certified therapist.
I am a teacher and had to get state certified. It means zippo, in my opinion.
Just more nonsense to force people to use the state for licenses and for unions to be happy to limit people in the field.
