Re: "The concept of a complex, modern nation without gov't is a facile and somewhat hilarious thought"

Yes, and not one conservatives nor Libertarians dream about, in point of fact. Contrary to popular belief and as hard as it may be for you to realize, Libertarians don't feel they need any more anarchy in their lives. They'd much prefer well ordered government and justice.

Funny, three posts ago and you sounded like you wanted to eliminate most of gov't. Of course it was ME who must have misunderstood.

As time goes on and truth and experience will out, the masses will realize that freedom indeed works best, but with your help it'll take a lot longer than a few years. Rest assured that someday a bill of rights to protect the awesome power of the people themselves, will truly rule some great country, and then a world of free people.

Sorry, guy, just a whole lot of words that don't mean a whole hell of a lot. Freedom most definitely is the goal but dropping bombs on countries pre-emptively is not an act of freedom but one of tyranny. Very rarely if ever do you get a right from a wrong.

I think you are well intentioned but slightly confused. That happens to the best of us! These are confusing times!

Have a good one!
