Interesting, that the funding for the submarines came directly from the German and U.S. governments. The reactors that produced the plutonium came from France, and the cruise missiles from the U.S. This is the Crusader Alliance Bin Laden talks about.

Here's a scenario: Syria and Jordan have Islamist revolutions, and form a mutual defense pact with a nuclear-armed Iran. They begin a war of attrition, constant small-scale warfare, on their borders with Israel. They supply Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Hamas in Gaza, with missiles that can hit Tel Aviv. Hamas declares the Islamic Republic of Palestine in Gaza, and declares it a no-go zone for the Israeli army. What does Israel do? They can't win a war of attrition, and they can't occupy Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria. Expel the entire Muslim population out of rocket range of all Israeli cities? Threaten First Use of nuclear weapons, unless the terrorism and war of attrition stop?
