Very interesting, and very recent, slide show presentation regarding the advantages/disadvantages of the various LNG regassification plant designs (including that of Golar/Marathon) proposed for California/Baja California. The engineer/author concludes that offshore is better (safer) than onshore. Golar's design is for onshore. borderpowerplants.org
