This is the way of the state in general, not of this administration per se.

If you want to reduce the amount of deception and manipulation, then reduce the size of the welfare-warfare state.

You can't tell me that any of the Dems would do this. They just favor corruption and abuses of power in other forms.

If you limit your political choices to Republicans and Democrats, then you are just choosing to perpetuate the abuses that offend you less. This doesn't make your choice an ethical one.
