I think specifically I was thinking about the inordinate influence corporations have over the government and elected officials as opposed to ordinary citizens. While corporate lobbyists are in the back rooms helping writing regulations that cover their own industries the average joe has no voice at all. The average joe has to form a pac and spend a lot of money to raise awareness to get access to that room. It's the money that buys access and the corporations have it, the individual does not. Yet corporations are not voting entities but have greater and more favorable representation that the individual and this was never intended by the constitution and our founding fathers.
