I don't care what was said in the article, I know people that work with KP on all sorts of projects. Conventional wisdom is that stock option expensing will NOT help small companies, John Doerr who is the most influential of all VCs at KP is the most staunchly opposed to expensing options in the industry (other than maybe John Chambers). Khosla has made some interesting choices in his career, he is certainly a top tier VC but he is no Doerr, and he has made controversial statements on 60 minutes and elsewhere about the desirability of India as an R&D hub. What is your point about that small company hiring? who cares? Think.
