Off-Topic:
First, I'd like to thank you and everyone else who sent kind words (public and private) regarding my father's death.
Second, I needed a "mental health break" so I have not posted in about a month. Seems like I spent the last month filling out paperwork and talking on the phone.

Back ON-TOPIC.
Like you, I would not mind folks remembering what I said and when. About a year ago, I was telling folks to look at base metals not precious metals. I think you and a small handfull of folks knew what I was talking about and why. World economies are recovering and we are seeing serious demand and price increases.
Year-to-Date Nickel + 53.5% Lead + 34.9% Tin +24.4% Copper +21.0%
I'm updating my spreadsheets daily for new 52 week highs in base metal stocks like: First Quantum, Teck Cominco, Phelps Dodge, Freeport Copper and Gold, Anglo American plc, INCO, Lionore Mining ;), BHP Billiton, Falconbridge, Southern Peru Copper, Noranda, Rio Tinto plc, INMET, KGHM Polska, Jubilee Mines, Buenaventura, Anaconda Nickel, etc...
Meanwhile gold has done just OK (+7.9% YTD) and silver remains near dead (+3.7% YTD) |
