My mother was acting all sniffy about Arnold being grabby towards women. I asked her, what if it was you and Arnold was Antonio Banderas? What then?

Oh, well, that would be another matter entirely. She did see my point. Arnold wouldn't be ok, but Antonio would.

I haven't had a pass thrown at me in a few years, but I do remember the days . . . . there's a big (and welcome) difference between having an unattractive man come on on you, and a very attractive man spontaneously acknowledge that he finds you attractive, too. Lots of grey areas, as well.

There is a bright line, in my opinion, when a woman says no, the man stops. I know a lot of men who believe in the "her lips say no but her eyes say yes" bit, so maybe the woman needs to be quite firm. Screaming, kneeing in the crotch, clawing his eyes out, stuff like that. Hopefully it won't come to that.

Bill did stop when Paula said no. He may well have raped Juanita, but maybe she didn't say no as firmly as she should have, I just don't know, and without knowing all the facts, I prefer not to opine.

Arnold, well, he stopped every time.
