Ya Yogi; Momemtum, and the effect of index funds is the main
the reason I have just about stoped picking stocks.
It don't make sence to look for good stocks with so much
money going into index funds who are just going to buy
what ever and by it's market cap..market cap is like
everything, or almost everything if your stock is in
an index..
----
I'm not fighting the tape, but I have just about missed
the upside on this last rally, but I don't really
care as long as I've got the cash, a hedge and can sleep
at night.
Had I not closed my hedge in my regular account
at just the wrong time I would be a little better
off, ( I still have it in my IRA and will keep it
so to not have to pay the 1.5%
charge for selling ahead of 90 days. )
It makes a little , and most likely will either way
the market goes.

And I'm still buying I-bonds ..
( one more buy to make this year and will do it this month )
I know the base rate will drop next month,
and the base rate is fixed for the life of the bond.
I think the CPI-U ( adjustable part) will tick up,
but that's for all the I-bonds.
