No, it hasn't, Bill. The measurement problems are very big issues, whether they get to a serious political level or not. The "mark" right now is a conversation about special education and measures for it. And the conversation is genuinely lost in quirky measures for vague standards with irritated parents, irritated at the Bush program, not the schools. Local problem at the moment. But my impression that process is going on in a great many upper income towns in Bergen County at least, perhaps throughout the state. It's gotten some serious coverage in The Record, the basic daily newspaper for the county.
