Clarification

Frame Buffers was the answer to your trivia question of how the graphics was handled when color raster graphics systems were developed in the late 70's. If you worked for the military then you know that vector graphics were being employed via highly specialized dedicated processor systems. I worked on taht too. Both technologies found their way into PC Boards.

It doesn't relate to the second part of the post. I'm sorry I confused you. Separately I liked what you had to say about JAVA and Novell. I frankly do not know what technology would speed up JAVA execution on the server side. I'm waiting for Novell to decide whether it is feasible to go after this JAVA application development/small customer market that is emerging. IBM is committed to doing it. PErhaps you guys are thinking monochromatically---one server fits all, I believe the slogan was. I think if you just examined what I have been saying here for just about one year on this topic instead of resisting the message, you guys could figure it out.

Time is passing!!!
