you are right,I do not get it. Seems like a silly thing to make a stand about.-The first time you applied for a social security number, you gave up any hope of annonimity to a much more powerful organization than SI.-That was the time to make a stand if you were going to on those grounds....What freedom do you lose if you verify that you only post using one name.-Can you not see the implications if people use multiple names and have imaginary conversations to dupe people into buying or selling to influence the money flow using fraudulent means?

99% of all merchants want to see proof you are who you say you are. Why should SI not have the same assurance?

If you are not engaged in fraud or some other activity that is illegal or unethical...What do you legitimately fear??
