Mandorin Goldfields Inc.: 0.24 Carat Diamond Provided for Analysis
Monday October 13, 11:53 pm ET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--
Mr. Malcolm L. Stevens, Chairman and President of Mandorin Goldfields Inc. ("the Company") (TSX-V symbol: MGD - News) is pleased to announce the following:

In accordance with the global, and exclusive, license obtained by the Company (TSX - V transaction approval granted September 15, 2003 - please refer to news release September 16, 2003) to commercialize KDC Endeavour, the Company has been provided with two (2) locations, in Queensland, Australia, that have been identified by the application of the KDC Endeavour technique and tenement applications have been lodged (please refer to news release October 1, 2003). These locations are potential locations of diamondiferous kimberlite and lamproite deposits.

0.24 CARAT DIAMOND PROVIDED FOR ANALYSIS

Due diligence work undertaken by the Company's geological consultants has located a 0.24 carat diamond and garnet bearing eclogite derived from the immediate locality of one of the tenements applied for by the Company on October 1, 2003.

Drs A and C Robertson, in an article published in the Queensland Government Mining Journal, October 1994 (the Brigooda Diamond Enigma by A.D. Robertson - Department of Minerals and Energy and C.M. Robertson - Consultant) comment that "the presence of diamond and the apparent lack of classical diamond indicator minerals associated with the maar poses a dilemma for diamond exploration".

The diamond and garnet bearing eclogite, has been passed to Professor Collerson (formation member of the Company's Technical Advisory Panel - please refer to news release October 7, 2003), at the University of Queensland, by Drs A and C Robertson and the material will be examined, in detail, in his laboratory in an attempt to determine its age or the carbon isotope signature.

Mandorin licence for exclusive worldwide rights to use KDC Endeavour

Mandorin has entered into a Licence agreement (approved by TSX-V on September 15, 2003) with UniQuest, the commercialisation company of the University of Queensland, for exclusive worldwide rights to use the KDC Endeavour technique. KDC Endeavour is intended for use in the identification of potential locations of diamondiferous kimberlite and lamproite deposits in traditional and non-traditional locations.

Mandorin plans to first prove-out the technology in 'trial' exploration programs (Tenement applications lodged 1 October 2003 - please refer to news release of that date), before seeking to exploit it more broadly.
