The only ones who weren't duped by Bush were the far left wing and Robert Byrd. But keep in mind, Saddam was a menace who had to be confronted. He just wasn't worth the rushed unilateral invasion. Kerry spoke very specifically about the need to take our time to build a coalition and construct a credible post-war plan BEFORE invading. Bushies ignored him in the end, ignored all common sense. Don't blame Kerry. It WAS a time to project strength.
