Neocon, you totally missed the point. You are fighting the previous war. What you wrote was true, but irrelevant to Noel's point. You restated the problem well, which is good. You got the solution wrong - hand-wringing and the USA thrashing around trying to control the other 96% of the world without democratic process is not something which is good for the USA people. They are living under Total Information Control and Homeland Security and the Office of Disinformation and the Patriot Act and other freedom suppressing laws. Which plenty of teutonic persuasion [Arnie for example just won a big vote] would say is just great. They never did like that loosey goosey British eccentricity freedom in the real liberal sense nonsense. A lot of marching, saluting and shooting is the way to raise children. A good clear pecking order is the natural state and following of orders a good thing. Say some. The solution is the NUN and the Love Cult as It's official religion. Those democratic ideals fit precisely with USA interests, culture and ability to bring it about. The USA leaders just need to see the light. Mqurice
