Am I here alone? If this is a powder keg, then I can understand my isolation, but instead I appear to be sitting on what appears to be a gold mine, confirmed today br Jefferies & Co. who initiated coverage on GLNG with a "buy" and a target of $20/share. Also, today, an announcement by BG Group (see link below) that they're going to be buying lots of LNG from Nigeria's trains 4 - 6 for importation to Lake Charles. No mention of Golar, indeed, today's release says that Nigeria is responsible for transportation to our shores. Awhile back there was an announcement that "Total" (I suppose TotalFina) was going to be responsible for transporting Nigerian output from these three new trains. But, TotalFina is not in the transportation business. Somehow, I have a hunch that with BG Group around, can Golar be far behind? Maybe Jefferies already knows the answer? Maybe we'll learn more about this possibility this week October 16th at Golar's presentation to the Marine Money conference?
