Advanced Micro Devices Honors KLA-Tencor with Supplier Award

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- KLA-Tencor (Nasdaq: KLAC - News) today announced that it has received a Spotlight Award from Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. AMD's Spotlight Award is part of the company's World Class Supplier Program. Suppliers are recommended by AMD's Core Equipment Team (CET), which considers several criteria, including extraordinary supplier efforts and project successes. Nominations for the award are conducted once per year.
