Metalink joins 802.11n parade to extend WLAN to greater range and numbers of users. biz.yahoo.com The push to incorporate MIMO, STA and other complementary technologies as a means to extend the capabilities of "WiFi" local area wireless standards has one more advocate proposing solutions. The pace of 802.11n development is shrinking the time frame for approval and is stretching capabilities into the realm of 802.16a WMAN. The motto "Embrace and Extend" doesn't seem to be only the domain of Microsoft.
