[ chat ] Bart, I don't know the answer to that question and I agree that the SEC would be aggresive if they felt there were serious violations. I don't believe that I have read what one would consider serious insider info but some may be posting from work and even if at home surely would not like their employers interpreting their actions as a conflict of interest, etc. I think this is one reason why some have elected not to post e-mail addresses or other personal info in their profiles. Anyway, how does anyone know that your name is really Bart ? And if you had a common name like "Joe" maybe no one would recognize your post. A handle often makes it easier to remember someone and sometimes reveals something about that person. In my case, when I became a member I was quite a fan of Pat Mudge and also had recently experienced some long over due playoff games at the New England Patriots's home stadium .... hence N/E PATSFAN !
