i agree. gates has a portfolio that includes software, web, televison, cable, etc. i also think the diversity of his investments is getting a bit strained--not many of his investments will produce cash flow any time soon. imho he will bond with ckfr and intuit but put his emphasis on home entertainment, the web, and software. can you see any significant risks to ckfr? maybe i am blind but i see long term uptrend over the next 5 years unless surprised by BIG BEAR MARKET (unlikely) or big competitor knocking them out (but i can't think of who could catch them--or want to).
