I agree with most of your post and don't wish to continue to debate the obvious. You seem to love to do that.

I've read that she was handled and it seems to be a tactic. You don't just grow suicide bombers without encouragement. It's not a normal thing for "parents" to encourage this or leaders to make it easy to get the bomb, the directions, the strategy, etc. I can understand grief but not compounding it with an intentional act such as this.

The difference, and you understand it I'm sure, is that a suicide bomber goes off and knows he/she will not return. A solider knows that the odds are in his/her favor. The mortality rate is no where near 100% as is the case with a suicide bomber. This is the tragedy of the suicide bomber and the family he/she leaves behind.

The tragedy of the targeted victims is that they are targeted just because they happen to be somewhere within reach and difficult to defend. They are victims for being residents, not military leaders, not soldiers, not military tacticians.

Israel does not target and rejoice over civilians.

Again, I believe this is all obvious but I'm sure you will come back and tell me that loss of life is loss of life and all war is terrible. I'll save you the post and tell you that I agree.
