Watch Out For an Upside Blowoff

If I told you the Nazz would be up almost 50% at the beginning of the year, you would have told me I was a joker.

That's why I keep thinking that the upside blowoff is getting more and more likely. The president and his crew are extremely investor-friendly, to the point, of course, where if they could assign you 5 or 6 points per stock if it would get Bush re-elected, they would do it. I see no signs that the Fed is going to tighten. I see very few hedge funds that are up double digits. I see lots of hedge funds that are still running flat books, as if that's some sort of an honor. I see very few funds making big deep-in-the-money call bets to get some more exposure. I know of almost no funds that are more than 100% net long except the fund that I regard as the best in the country.
