Same mistake the Japanese made.

Fuel a real estate boom with easy credit to keep the prosperity alive. Result: 15 years later, their banking system is dysfunctional.

The US government bailed out the thrifts in the 80's, but this debt monster is far larger. What are they going to use to bail out the banks? More loans?

I have NO holdings of US dollars any more. I have a little SIL, purely for the silver content, LOL.
