The problem with bombing Saddam's reactor, is not just that it violates Iraq's sovereignty. The problem is, it doesn't work. Has that bombing stopped the steady spread of nuclear weapons into the region?

Jacob, Jacob, Jacob,

Don't lose track of the real problem. At the heart of the matter lies the unflinching hate that most ME countries have for Israel. They have unsuccessfully tried through war and terrorism to get rid of it. Nuclear weapons are a relatively cheap means of achieving what they cannot do conventionally. That they'll also suffer horribly in the process of using nukes does not seem to much matter.

That nukes can be used against Europe and/or the US is simply lagniappe.

One cannot stand idly by while religious fanatics and gangsters intent on genocide acquire nuclear weapons. It's that simple, in my view.
