I have noticed over the years that Warren has almost a love affair with paying taxes. For instance when he sold his shares in Disney in 1999, he must have paid about 750 Million in taxes. On the other hand, I don't know if Nebraska has a state income tax.

His only statement that you are looking at, I know, is his "attack" on Jarvis Gann, (the act that limits property tax in cal to 1.125%) when he supported Arnold. The problem is he is sort of right (and I immediately hasten to add that I may not agree with his view). Jarvis-Gann has sort of warped the housing industry in California. A dog house now costs 475 thou.

But he did take a lot of sht for what was a very mild statement. Of course, what caused the UPROAR!, is all these people who just popped a mill into the old homestead as a tax dodge, and MAY, I said MAY, and I am pretty fluent in the study of the social effects of the tax law, be looking at 20 to 50 thou a year in property tax bills,

if ya catch my drift, Amigo.

And you are the First Name Caller violator if memory serves, implicitly calling warren a cheapskate financial abuser of mere children.
