Eric, Thanks for your review of the new VZ Nokia. I'm sure it will be a huge seller; as you say, the brand pull of Nokia is formidable indeed. Since this thread is intended to assess packet data, I eagerly await your review on that front.

Are you aware of whether the onboard wap browser in the Nokia also supports 1X packet data? In my experience, Sprint's Vision phones load wap pages significantly slower than their GSM, GPRS, and IS95A (on both VZ or PCS) counterparts. I'd be eager to know if the problem is in 1X technology or merely in PCS's implementation thereof. Until now, however, PCS phones have the only onphone 1X browsers that I could get my hands on.
