I do not know a thing about the oil and gas industry exploration, discovery and eventual production process. Any idea what the next step will be after the 3D seismic survey is completed and how long it will take before the actual production will begin? I can, however, surmise that the company has to continually explore for new oil due to depletion of existing resources. After all, oil is another form of money, i.e., the transference of energy, albeit it is expended instead of being in continual circulation.
