Hi Again,
The manufacturing economy is turning (Minus 2MM souls.] Oh well, that's capitalism for you).
This is where I have my greatest doubt towards your take AC, and it clouds the entire issue for me. While the market may boom (I really don't know yet) it seems to me that more and more folks will just muddle along with the two pronged deflationary force of Asia, abetted by the miracle technologically induced productivity. Retirees working narrows options for younger workers and the trend elmat pointed out is noticeable up here (kids staying in the nest). Demographic wars on the horizon ? Looks like an even greater concentration of wealth will occur than we have already.. That in itself spells social upheaval no ? Finally in a boom like you forecast more people lose money than make money ... it has to be ultimately that way... but then that's the aftermath and not what you are focusing on..
OK.. another variant I cannot strike off the list ...

regards
Kastel

EDIT as to Canadians eating wood pulp ? we'll leave that to Beaver..
