Hi Nadine Carroll; Re: "But Carl, you just got done arguing that material wealth won't make any difference to political ideology."

Material wealth does make a difference if it's large enough. But neither the US in Iraq, nor Israel in Palestine, is making anywhere near enough of a difference. That's why both policies are failing.

Re: "After the history of the last 70 years, I don't think that Israel needs to apologize to anybody for being a refuge for the Jews. The flip side of allowing Jews into Israel is the frequency with which other countries force their Jews out, never mind if the Jews had lived there for hundreds or thousands of years."

It appears that you're basing your arguments on an appeal for pity, LOL. Hey, back when the slaughter of 6,000,000 Jews was still fresh in everyone's mind that probably worked. What's on everyone's TV now is the occupations in Iraq and Palestine. You guys are losing the pity war and would do well to stick to bullets.
