bullshit, Alou's glove was directly under the ball
bullshit bullshit bullshit
I saw the same replays several times
bullshit

Moises had to reach, but he was there
dont understand how you could not see that
the fan's hand touched Alou's glove

even the photo in the Wall Street Journal clearly shows the ball directly over Alou's glove

not a single fan was looking at the left fielder
for such a critical inning in a critical game, their fans were clueless and only thinking of themselves
if I were there, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE

in 1975, I got a major league ball in Pittsburgh
I have my own style
I look up and judge where it is going
I ran to the spot and fought with teenagers for the ball
and I won
it now has a Stan Musial signature on it
I tried and failed to get Hank Aaron to sign it
that ball sits in my dresser drawer, a real beauty

if I were there, I would have pushed the idiot fans out of the way
right on their fat asses back in their seats
to assume otherwise is not to know me or my behavior

I routinely look to the fans and look to the fielder
that is the easiest way to check if a foul pop is heading deep into the stands
if the front rows are looking backwards, it will be foul
if the front rows are looking forward, it will be contentious
I would have looked at the fans all around
and then looked for Alou

the shortstop error might have been part of a psychological letdown
the entire stadium was hushed into silence after the foul pop
poor Alex Gonzales, he will never forget his error
sure, more fat pitches hit hard by the Marlins

these Marlins are one fun bunch of nameless young phenoms
