Do you know what is disingenuos? Continuing to deny that the administration fabricated a threat that did not exist to sell a policy to the nation, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary

If there was "fabrication", how do you account for the previous administration as well as the UN drawing the same conclusions the administration did? BOTH are on record as having done so. Thus, the BUSH administration didn't fabricate anything (perhaps Clinton did).

Did the Bush administration press the case to the limit? Sure, they did. But it is clear that getting rid of Saddam was absolutely the best conceivable way to protect us against anti-American terrorists. If they had to pull out all the stops to sell it to the American people, fine. It was necessary for our national defense. As to the "world", I could give a sh*t. The "world" should have zero say in how we manage our affairs. No other nation has ever applied to the UN for permission to start a war; in self-defense, or otherwise.
