Sam, yes RGFX does compete in the same sectors and a little competition is good for all! One small paragraph in the article sums up why I like RGFX:

Three trends make the economics look good for everyone in graphics
printing: the growth of digital photography, continued innovation in
computing and a robust supplies market. Supplies count for about 20% of
Encad's revenues, and no wonder: A $10,000 graphics printer can run
through $10,000 in supplies in a year. An ink jet's ink and cartridge
cost $300.

"The potential is barely tapped," says Mark Lewis, Encad's vice
president of marketing.

I have always believed that RGFX will beat analyst expectations because of the "supply market". It is easy for analyst to predict printer sales based on percentages but if economies are doing well many companies will also increase their budgets which include ....MORE SUPPLIES!! This small factor is one that could really lead to great earnings and stable revenue. Just because HP and ENCD are larger doesn't mean RGFX doesn't have a good product or sales ability!?! This is actually a good time for RGFX to move and garner market share and who ever knows...... a company with good earnings, products and a sales force could also be a good acquisition. Anyways have some faith in the company, its products and CEO...who is moving the company in the right direction. Patience has no time limit and I will wait RGFX out for the long term.
