Kerry has been 100% right about Iraq, not 100% pro war.
Lieberman and Gephardt WERE pro-war. They were at the Rose Garden signing patting Bush on the back. Kerry was making speeches warning Bush that if he abused this power he'd be held accountable, that he had to fulfill his promises to go the Un route and use war only as a last resort.

Kerry's always been for war as a last resort and only with a broad coalition and a smart post-war plan. Dean had the luxury of staying home watching the war debates on TV. He didn't have to make a difficult choice on it. He can just be a monday morning quarterback and criticize later. Kennedy has a right to criticize. He too had to make the difficult choice. He voted against the war. Dean didn't have to vote on anything. Dean's tax and war stances are just as liberal as Kennedy, perhaps more so. Wanting to do away with the middle clas tax cuts is about as liberal as you get. If he were nominated, Bushies could get away with calling hm "socialist".

Kennedy does back Kerry strongly, but they dont always agree on issues.
