There is a lot more of a "Class" feeling to the country than their is to ours.

Just as much "class feeling" in the US. It's thoughts about class mobility that might be different.

What concerns the researchers in that first study is that there's perhaps a correlation between a "lack of engagement" in school and not continuing in post secondary.

It appears those students come from the kinds of families from which you might expect children to continue in post secondary.
