Thanks for the referral to Brown & Co. After doing some research I decided to give them a try... About the only downside I see in using them is that they pay a rather uncompetitive rate for unused funds (it varies every day but as an example last Friday it was 3%). Apparently you can't sweep unused funds in a money market or other type of account as you can with other brokers. I guess that if you anticipated not using your funds for a protracted period of time you could have them wired to a money market account elsewhere and return them to Brown when you're ready for some action...BTW, their margin rates are pretty incredible...Customer service says that they will have a web site for trading in the fall and that starting January 1st of next year they will offer checking.

This lawyering business has severely interfered with my day trading activities the past 2 weeks. Decided to start firing 2 clients each month...Off to surfing and then to charts.
