yes that is the Bush supporter's angle. I see it differently, I think this economy would be on fire right now if it weren't for all this offshoring of jobs. It is fear, pessimism and relentless war mongering that has allowed that fear to become pervasive in the US. But I am in California and Bush won't win here anyway. So it doesn't much matter what silicon valley thinks, or Washington state, it is the rest of the country. Who knows maybe the midwest is happy as a clam right now. I don't think so, but things are improving... sortof. I don't think Bush should have asked for that money to rebuild iraq's infrastructure. Seems like a very bad political call to me.
