The UN Security Council today unanimously approved the latest US Iraq resolution.

This once again shows that anybody counting on the UN to seriously oppose US aggression is incredibly naive. The main objection of the other big powers to the US aggression was that the US refused to share the spoils; now that secret pledges to share the plunder have probably been made -- they are falling into line just as they did during a decade of genocidal sanctions.

BTW the same applies to the Democratic party. Gephardt is supporting the Bush request for $87 billion.
