Not much to report on RR. Same old same old here. About the only thing new is that I had an MRI on my lower back & I'm waiting on the results. Doc doesn't want to treat anything else until my lower back situation is resolved. Soooooo, I have nearly constant pain in my back when I sit, stand, walk or sleep. My Achilles tendon continues to get worse & my knee rehab is way behind schedule. Other than that I'm doing great. At least I am learning first hand about health insurance & how it is more about the decisions of pencil pushers & $$ than it is about the needs of the patient & what the medical experts think. After my last exam, I went to the rest room. On my way out I passed the lunch room & overheard someone say that the doctors at the facility I was in had just been reamed big time by the Administration of the medical center they belonged to. Apparently the powers that be reamed them out for spending too much time with each patient. It fully explained why my doctor was acting completely different from my previous visit. She was curt, nervous & seemed so upset that she wasn't making any sense at all. She abruptly left the exam room in the middle of a question I had about my Achilles tendon & came back with a prescription for the MRI of my back. She told me to get the MRI & walked out of the room again. I figured after about 5 minutes that she wasn't going to return & headed to the rest room before leaving. If you would have seen how upset this doctor was, you would have been amazed. But hey! The medical center is making their numbers & profits are up. OOF
