but AMAT (like others) will eventually move manufacturing overseas (and nearer the markets)
if that happens you can kiss silicon valley goodbye along with
many thousands of US high technology jobs, businesses and
the huge infrastructure that exists to support the semi
equipment manufacturing business.... The loss would be
especially catastrophic to California and Texas. It would
be like Ford and GM saying "we are moving all our manufacturing operations overseas". BB
