If it is an ethical belief then it is based on a standard that we recognize as 'ethical'. Ethical connotes correctness. Nonsense. Take just one example. Person A considers it ethical for people to wear fur. Person B considers it unethical for any person to wear fur. They certainly both have ethical positions, but they are diametrically opposed. They can't both be correct, or else the term correct is meaningless.
