Many of my PMs from the Canadian side often have the ability to ignore the indices... XAU/HUI and otherwise. Typically about a month or so from now you'll be buying based upon your trend confirmation while I'll still be taking some profits on an oversized position that I bought at the bottom. I wouldn't be comfortable doing it your way and probably you wouldn't be comfortable doing it mine. Whatever works. Regardless, I very much appreciate your perspective as my trading style evolves.
