Saddam viewed himself as the eventual supreme ruler and savior of the Muslim world. Every man is entitled to his delusions... Did you view him as a peacemaker who was working to make the world a safe place for everyone to live? No, I view him as a tiger that had been put in a box for the last 12 years. And now we know that even if he had been let out of the cage, he couldn't have done much because the tiger had no teeth and no claws either!
