I agree with your assessment of Criss. Unfortunately, if you E-mail or leave messages with others like Gene Bowles, they get forwarded to Criss. The best info I got was from the conference call after their last earnings. The people that run the company had to respond to some disappointed analysts and I got a very positive feeling that they understood the problems and had solutions in most areas. This quarter has a good chance for an upside surprise in my opinion due to the fact that: 1)RAIDPRO had a good launch at the end of the last quarter and this should continue; 2) NT business looks good and their new ULTRA SCSI seems well priced; 3) They don't have much business in Europe where sales are still sluggish; 4) They worked out the pricing problem on hard drives from SEG; 5) They have their sales force in order; 6) DELL and MUEI are trying to get bigger in the server area and they don't make their own storage systems (this could lead to some OEM agreements or just more systems out there which require independent storage systems); and 7) $.08 is a reduced number and STDM management is going to be conservative to avoid any disappointments but will be working very hard to exceed this number since they own 67% of the company.

The next resistance is small at 7 1/2 and then its on to over 10.
Any pullback to 5+ level is a buying opportunity IMHO.
