They should cut jobs, but they're doing the time-honored democrat thing: cutting the essential services, while leaving their bloated bureaucracies intact.
I learned decades ago that democrat-controlled executive and legislative branches, and their bureaucracies, always cut police, fire, schools, and libraries first when in a crunch, because they're most needed services and are most visibly affected when reduced.
The taxpayers moan and whine for awhile, then agree to higher taxes to reinstate the services, while the bloated bureaucracies at the top remain untouched, or have to ration paper clips and cell phones, at worst.
It's a scam. |
