Lieutenant General Boykin is hilarious.

1. While the Supreme Court is due some respect, to say that "God put him there" in regard to Bush being President, is stretching respect.

2. His job is "speeding the flow of top-secret intelligence to commandos hunting bin Laden and other high-value targets". Which leads to the old oxymoron joke about military intelligence.

3. Osama and Saddam are likely quite safe while he is in charge of intelligence.

4. Maybe it's a bluff to act really stupid to put Osama, Saddam and co off their guard by making them misunderestimate Lt Gen Boykin.

5. If God is really on Lt Gen Boykin's side, then Allah is winning 2-0 at the moment, which doesn't say much for the omniscience and omnipotence of Lt Gen Boykin's deity. What a second rate spook Boykin is backing.

6. Maybe if Boykin stayed on the job instead of ranting to the superstitious, he'd manage to locate Saddam, Omar and Osama [and the rest of the card pack].

7. I thought Delta Force blokes were meant to be highly intelligent warriors. Maybe they are all muscle and no brains. Maybe it's the Green Berets or some other group which has the smarts. < a Muslim warlord in Somalia, who had boasted that Allah would protect him from American capture. "I knew my God was bigger than his. I knew that my God was a real god and his was an idol," Gen Boykin said.>
