Razor: Your post is very refreshing! You are right, it is fun.I am old enough to have flown fabric covered airplanes and fired bolt action rifles when they were standard. I have watched the old order begin to go, and am now seeing its demise accelerate. I have seen mores perish under the exigencies of a collapsing system. Every system survives according to the viability of its ethical and moral systems. The Age of Information will produce prosperity to the extent these systems are strong. Ethical and moral systems are viable only to the extent that they are generally accepted, and such acceptance results only from necessity. The ethical and moral imperative in cyberspace, and especially in the cybereconomy is keeping one's word. i.e. truth-telling. Individual human success will depend entirely on establishing a track record of personal reliability. But here on the new frontier the old system of lying, deceiving to get the quick buck and running, and dissimulating and trying to stay on board for as long as possible, are dying hard. So, as on all frontiers, there is a lot of freedom and that means a lot of fun. As always.
